Sometimes in life, you want a little more dessert. The same goes with images and stories. Did you really think we’d stop after just 2 pile up images of June Dion’s impressive collection?

When a few days ago I asked DP (aka Designerpete Enyo) to do a pile up for us, I thought it would be fair to leave him some choice of inspiration, so I emailed to him several possible snapshots. All I asked was “pick one”. And I got an extra portion of dessert, as he sent me two.

For all the B@re Rose fans, here is Envy, released on October 31st. And here is June’s little story about this outfit.

ENVY

“Made for AJE Production’s 7 Sins fashion show at Halloween. My contribution was Envy. I created other outfits, first one called Dogu outfits, since envious people don’t see themselves so covered in boxes and pointy, wired looks, but I overdid the wired look, so remade it as this dress. Green is the color most often associated with Envy, so this is the base color. Envy is a twisted emotion, so I made some twisted shapes around chest and skirt. On the left side of the chest, there is an eye symbol looking at the person who is the target, but it is slightly hiden, to not look straight when the wearer of the outfit is most envious. Half of the arm is armored against anyone who is on the eye. But the wearer of the outfit does not know how beautiful she is, therefore half of one side is naked with a beautiful deco the on head.”

I ONLY SAID….

The Orian style kimono was made for the 4th aniversary of the store. I have created similar outfits for each annual show. The kimono wearer is coverd by two kimono. One side is exposed, sheer similar to underwear. The hair pin featured Shamisen guitar parts, which Oiran play during a performance. The title was taken from the song ‘My Bloody Valentine’, my most favourite music, the lyrics being well-suited for Orian, as they are prisoners of the brothels. She can not ask for help, even if she has fallen in love with a man. The Chain and Mouth Mascot symbolized the hard life they live.

Uncover is happy to present the first of “Tell us a Story”, Undine

UNDINE
One of my customers asked me to make a new mermaid, since I hadn’t made one in a long time. She wanted goth and witch style, so I tried to make one like that. I started with remaking an AO and made a posestand this time to assist with building. I made grander poses and movements for a wicked woman mermaid. After that, I got the idea that she should be living in the deep sea. I used the Arowana photo from my graphic library, encorporating all the texture for prims / clothes (except eyes) from that. To enhance the deep sea feel of the mermaid, I made the tail similar to an invertebrate animal. While making the texture, I added frills like fur around the arms to resemble a fur shawl in silhouette. This outfit had no name until it was complteted, but was named Undine after I read a story about this mythical water nymph who could curse her unfaithful husband.
