About Uncover Magazine

Uncover Magazine is founded by Maryna Wind in August 2008. Later Chou Skinstad joined the team as co-owner and Editor-in-Chief. With issue Dare we introduced French and German translations in addition to our main publication in English. We are interested in all aspects of Second Life and try to cover them in creative and unique way. Each issue of Uncover Magazine has its own topic. That what makes us stand out from other magazine about Second Life.

First we were publishing in-world and online using platform issuu.com. As well as in-world publication and issuu.com platform have their own limitations. It takes a lot of time to view a magazine in-world (uploading times), for Issuu.com readers need to install an additional application to view a publication in the right format. The very dynamic of metaverse demands new formats. The broad use of RSS and Atom aggregation programs lead us to online publishing using WordPress platform. Now it is much easier to access Uncover Magazine from your computer at home or at work or even from your mobile phone.This way we intend to reach broader audience and make it easier for our reader to access information and provide a better overview of readership statistic for our sponsors.

However, once in a while we will publish the most interesting material in old-fashion manner.
